hey there fellow planner nerd
I'm not sure what makes us this way but here we are.
it seems like I regularly fall in love with a planner or planning system, I'll go all in and follow the process to the T...and then I'm over it. way over it. like I won't even look at my planner let alone use it. and this has been a theme in my planner nerd life ever since I can remember.
it wasn't until I gave up yearly goals and rigid calendars that I felt most in control. I started leaning into my natural tendency for changing things up and fully embraced the beautiful messiness of life.
that's when I realized I needed more compassion for myself
in order to have more consistency...
I'm still refining an uber flexible planning system that is most conducive for how I operate, allowing me to flourish outside of the predetermined calendar boxes.
but that takes quiet focused time and that's why I'm creating this little planner group. I'm calling the group compassionate consistency and my hope is that I can offer a space, for people like me, who want to create small steps towards the big things that light them up.
small group. big wins.
consistent action, compassionately and collectively.
01
the vision
embrace the natural rhythms that impact our energy and focus. revamp big life dreams or never ending projects to create small focuses towards the things that truly matter. I believe consistent action reminds us how awesome we are and it can be done compassionately + collectively.
02
the structure
the group is laid back and loosely structured to encourage each person to work on their ideas and goals in their own individual way. it's kinda like a study hall specifically for planning goals, focuses and projects.
03
the commitment
there is none outside of a non-judgmental view, kind hearted support and realistic expectations. for now this group is free + open to anyone. bring your own planner and planning tools. share ideas if you'd like or stay quiet + observe.
04
the schedule
the group meets quarterly-ish
in a two hour time slot. it's open house style: come for some of it or come for all of it. it's completely up to you. it's mostly focused working time with a short break in the middle. optional short chat at the beginning and end to share planner related things.
